Poverty in Sierra Leone

In the west of the continent exists one of the words poorest countries, Sierra Leone . Suffering 10 years of cruel civil war the population now undergoes poverty and lack of means and infrastructure. There is no industry and there is a very high increase of unemployment.

The majority of the population cannot be fed, bearly living off of one bowl of rice and cassava a day. Medical support is almost impossible with inadequate facilities and little supplies. Thousands of children are suffering from Malaria and Malnutrition, all are preventable with adequate care.
